Winter Wedding Fun
** Wednesday Wedding Tip**
Simple to Sensational
This weeks Simple to Sensational Tip is:
**Winter Adventures with the One You Love the Most!**
Honestly, my favorite time of the year is Summer, but me and my team started brainstorming fun ideas for the colder months and now I’m actually pretty excited to try some of these with my honey!
Everyone needs a little break, so come down from your planning cloud, grab your fiancé and go have some fun!
Here are 4 of my Chic “California Winter” inspired Activities:
- Hit the Slopes: One of the best things, I think, about living in California is we actually have access to Snow within an hour drive. So load up the ski’s and snow board and head for the mountains. If you don’t ski or snow board take lessons or just go play in the snow! Take a day trip or go a little further and make a weekend out of it!
- Ice Skating Anyone?: Yes, we even have Ice Skating in California! One of my favorite ice skating rinks is at Universal City Walk. They have free screenings of holiday film classics on a big outdoor screen. Plus live entertainment and snowfalls. Check around, I’m sure there is a rink close to home, but I just think Universal offers an evening or afternoon full of FUN things to do and see!
- Game Night: Call up some other couples, order a pizza and break out your favorite board game or deck of cards! Make it a competition, couples vs. couples!
- Picnic Indoors: Or as I like to call them “Carpet Picnics!” Grab some wine, cheese and crackers and some of your favorite snacks. Light a fire in the fireplace and maybe even rent a movie you’ve never seen before or watch one of your all time favorites, grab a big blanket and snuggle!
We don’t have harsh, snowed in winters here in California, so just be creative and try something neither one of you have ever done before. With all the hustle and bustle of the holiday’s as well as planning a wedding it’s really Sensational to take some time together and have FUN!
